72×72 cm 3D Thread Wall Art with Wood Frame – Multicolour

There is a quiet discipline behind this piece that only reveals itself up close: row upon row of taut thread, each one hand-strung between pin points to form a field of overlapping, sail-like curves. Set within a natural wood frame left in its raw, grained finish, the composition reads as a grid from a distance and a woven relief in detail – every quadrant catching light differently as the threads arc and twist in parallel lines. The palette moves playfully across teal, coral pink, lime green, ochre, soft grey, and ivory, each curved segment shifting tone against its neighbour to create a sense of gentle motion across the surface. Unlike a flat print or canvas, the thread work has real depth, casting soft shadows that change with the time of day and the angle of approach. Measuring 72 by 72 centimetres, it holds its own as a single square-format panel without overwhelming a wall. Hung above a console, a bed headboard, or within an entrance hallway, it brings warmth, craft, and a sense of considered colour to the space around it.
