Abstract Aluminium Deco Sculpture – Black

Some objects fill a shelf. This one commands the room. Cast in aluminium and finished in a deep matte Black, the Balance deco object is built from a series of interlocking vertical bars and a bold circular ring, offsetting one another like a puzzle caught mid-assembly. The textured, hand-finished surface catches light unevenly across its planes, giving the sculpture a raw, foundry-forged character rather than a slick factory sheen. Visible weld seams at the joins are left honest and unpolished, part of the piece’s industrial-art appeal rather than something to hide. It rises from a flat rectangular base that keeps the whole composition stable and freestanding, ready to anchor an entryway console, a living room corner or the end of a long hallway. Asymmetric and architectural, it plays with negative space as much as form, casting graphic shadows that shift through the day. This is a piece for the home that wants to be looked at twice.
