Description
Some chairs simply seat you. This one performs. The Cocktail Chair takes the shape of a single sweeping curve, its round backrest and rolled arm looping continuously into the drum-shaped seat below, all upholstered in a deep, cloud-like bouclé that begs to be touched. The Warm Ivory fabric has a soft, nubby texture that catches the light in gentle waves, wrapped smoothly over a plump, deep seat cushion built for sinking in rather than perching. Beneath the curve, a polished gold panel leg rises like a sculptural blade, grounded by a rounded gold foot and finished with a slim gold trim ring at the base – a striking contrast of soft and hard, matte and mirror-bright. There is no back cushion or scatter cushion here; the design is the detail. Slotted into a reading corner, a dressing nook, or beside a console in an open-plan villa lounge, it reads less like furniture and more like a piece of art you happen to sit in.
