Ciara Handwoven Leather Dhurry Rug 230×330 cm – Denim Blue

The Ciara Rug takes its character from an old flatweave technique, reworked here in a striated dhurry of bovine leather strips woven through cotton warp. Vertical bands of Denim Blue drift from deep indigo to pale chambray to soft ivory, each strip carrying the faint grain and texture of the leather it was cut from — no two runs of colour ever quite repeat. Handwoven flat, with no pile to shed or flatten, it sits low and firm against the floor, making it easy to sweep and simple to live with underfoot. The cotton backing gives the weave stability and a clean, finished reverse, while a neat woven border closes each edge. Measuring 230 by 330 centimetres, it has the scale to anchor a living room seating arrangement, a family room floor, or a wide entryway run.
