Hippo Sculptural Glass Coffee Table – Gold

Some furniture fills a corner. This one starts every conversation in the room. The Hippo Coffee Table is a sculptural centrepiece cast in richly textured polyresin and finished in a lustrous gold, capturing every fold, wrinkle and whisker of its namesake with startling realism. Standing foursquare on sturdy legs, the hippo carries an oval tempered glass top balanced across its back, its ears and snout breaking the surface as if the creature itself is wading through water. The glass is clear and smooth, letting the gilded form beneath take full centre stage while still offering a genuinely usable surface for books, drinks or décor. Part table, part art object, it embodies the fearless, maximalist spirit of a home that refuses to be ordinary. Place it in front of a velvet sofa or as a lone eccentric gesture in an otherwise pared-back room – either way, it announces a personality that loves design with a wink.
