Santa 230×330 cm Handwoven Cotton Dhurry Rug – Multi

The Santa rug is a handwoven dhurry, built loop by loop from pure cotton on the loom, giving it the low, flat pile and slightly textured hand typical of traditional flatweave work. Its deep aubergine-brown ground is patterned with a diamond trellis of botanical motifs – vines, oak-leaf sprays and stylised medallions rendered in brick red, warm gold and ivory, with soft touches of denim blue scattered through the field. A wide ivory and red border frames the composition, echoing the palette of the centre field. Because it is flatwoven rather than piled high, it lies close to the floor, resists crushing under furniture, and is simple to keep clean in a busy household.
