Wood Framed Photo Print on Silver Foil Paper – Coral & Magenta

There is something wonderfully strange about a television rising from a mountain range, rendered in a palette of electric coral, magenta and smoke grey – and that strangeness is exactly the point. This piece begins life as an original image, printed onto silver foil paper so that the ink sits with a faint metallic shimmer beneath the surface, lending the composition an unexpected luminosity. It is held within a slim wood frame, glazed in glass, finished in black for quiet contrast against the saturated colours within. The artist’s signature marks the lower corner, a reminder that this is image-as-artwork rather than ordinary wall decor. Hung in an entryway, study or gallery wall, it reads as a single bold accent – pop culture memory reimagined through a painterly, almost hallucinatory lens. At 73cm high and 57cm wide, it holds its own on a wall without overwhelming the room around it.
